1) Madharaasi’ (Madharaasi) :- Tamil psychological action thriller movie is Madharaasi. The movie stars Sivakarthikeyan, Rukmini Vasantha, and Vidyut Jammwal in lead roles. The movie is directed by AR Murugadoss. And it was released on September 5, 2025. Will be streaming on Prime Video on October 1st. After its release, the film’s action sequences and Sivakarthikeyan’s acting skills were appreciated by the audience. However, while the first part of the film kept the audience excited, the second part of the film seemed a bit long and boring to the audience. However, overall the film has received a good response in the theatres.
2) The Game: You Never Play Alone’: This web series is releasing on October 2, 2025 on Netflix. Shraddha Srinath will be seen playing the lead role in this movie. He is accompanied by Santosh Pratap, Chandini, Shyama Harini and many others as co-actors. The series revolves around a cyber thriller story. Where one can be seen as a female game developer. This movie shows the complexities of a relationship and virtual world.

3) War 2: The much awaited film War 2. Starring Hrithik Roshan, Jr. NTR, Kiara Advani, this movie is a great action packed movie. The audience enjoyed the action sequences of this film very much. However, while the action scenes of the film were appreciated by the audience, the weakness of the screenplay has to be criticized by some viewers. Still many viewers are waiting to watch War Two on OTT platforms. It will be released on Netflix on October 9.
4) Inquiry: The Naina Murder Case will feature Konkana Sensharma in the lead role. Others also include Surya Sharma, Shraddha Das, Shiv Pandit. Rohan Sippy of Criminal Justice series fame – the director of this series. Konkana Sen Sharma will play the role of a police officer in this series. The story is basically a thrilling tale of political intrigue and unmasking of the killer. In this story, Konkana Sen Sharma i.e. the police officer will be seen unraveling the mystery of the murder of a politician from among many suspects. This series is coming to Jio Hotstar on 10th October.
5) Lokah Chapter 1 Chandra: Lokah: Chapter 1 – Chandra’ releases in theaters on August 28, 2025. The film was widely acclaimed as one of the first modern female superhero films in Indian cinema. This film inspires a feminist perspective. This Malayalam movie is directed by Dominic Arun. Kalyani Priyadarshan played the lead role. The film is a blend of Indian folklore and supernatural science fiction. The film has already received a lot of appreciation. The film is set to premiere on Netflix on October 23.
6) Absolute Beauty: Param Sundari’ movie is romantic comedy combination. Siddharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor are playing CM in this film. This movie is shot in Kerala. The beautiful natural setting of Kerala along with the romanticism and Sachin-Jigar’s songs have given the film a huge response from the audience. The story of the film will touch the romantic feelings of the audience. In this film, two couples of North Indian and South Indian culture, despite their cultural differences, share the same heart, that is, their relationship takes a new turn despite their cultural background. The film will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on October 24.
